Position: Club Cook

Location: Kihei, HI

Pay: $30.12/hour

Experience: 1 to 2 years of culinary experience required; luxury hotel or restaurant experience strongly preferred.

Education: Culinary degree or certification preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday; three shifts available.

Job Description:

• Prepare appetizers, soups, salads, desserts, and entrees using established recipes and standards.
• Execute breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event service.
• Prepare sauces and stocks to support daily operations.
• Set up, operate, and break down culinary station equipment.
• Maintain plating standards and ensure timely ticket execution.
• Monitor food quality and ensure proper rotation, labeling, and storage.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, refrigeration, and work areas.
• Assist chefs and higher-level cooks during prep and service.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Food safety certification required.
• Proof of negative TB test required.
• Ability to operate standard commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, lifting, bending, and working indoors/outdoors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Professional demeanor with respect for Hawaiian culture and community.
