Experience: 3 years of community association, condominium, HOA, or property management experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent combination of education and community association/property management experience preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Employers Options is seeking an Account Executive to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor to Boards of Directors, owners, legal counsel, vendors, insurance representatives, accountants, and on-site staff.
• Prepare Board meeting agendas, management reports, and follow-up action items, and attend and facilitate Board, Annual, and special meetings.
• Coordinate annual owners' meetings and elections using electronic voting platforms such as Election Buddy.
• Manage annual operating budgets and reserve funding plans in partnership with the accountant, reserve specialist, and Board.
• Review monthly financial statements, analyze budget variances, and provide recommendations to the Board.
• Monitor delinquencies and collections, including 30- and 60-day notices and coordination with legal counsel.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide written reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate maintenance contracts, capital improvement projects, reserve projects, and emergency repairs.
• Develop bid specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, and review vendor insurance and contracts.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers on renewals and claims, and with legal counsel on enforcement, disputes, and collections.
• Maintain accurate, confidential Association records, including minutes, resolutions, contracts, and financial documentation.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors, legal counsel, insurance representatives, and vendors preferred.
• Experience with budgets, reserve planning, capital improvement projects, and financial reporting preferred.
• CMCA certification required within 12 months of hire if not already obtained; AMS and PCAM encouraged.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), property management software, and electronic voting platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple associations, deadlines, and competing priorities.
