We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our tax practice. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys technical tax work, collaborative planning, and direct involvement in delivering high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial tax preparation support, including information gathering, workpaper creation, data entry, and first-draft return preparation
- Review returns and selected projects prepared by Tax Associates and interns
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members
- Prepare tax projections and provide proactive tax planning recommendations
- Prepare responses to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence
- Collaborate with the advisory team on tax planning matters and client service initiatives
- Communicate with clients by phone and email and participate in client meetings as needed
- Conduct tax research and provide support on technical projects and planning matters
- 2-5 years of public accounting experience with a background in taxation
- CPA eligible or JD required; Master’s in taxation preferred
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and projects
- Proficiency in or ability to adapt quickly to new tax software and research tools (i.e., CCH Axcess Tax, BNA Income Tax Planner, and CCH IntelliConnect)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Willingness and desire to be part of a team
- Salary range: $85,000 – $105,000
