We are seeking a QC Laboratory Analyst for our second shift to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
As a QC Laboratory Analyst, you will be hands-on in performing analytical testing and ensuring data integrity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing wet chemistry analyses such as IR, pH, TLC-plates, solubility testing, and other compendial methods (USP/EP/JP).
- Executing validation protocols and reviewing peer analytical data.
- Recognizing out-of-specification (OOS) results and driving investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Performing instrument and titrant verification/calibration as scheduled.
- Following written procedures accurately while maintaining strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and data integrity principles.
- Working independently while demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.
- Collaborating effectively within a team while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives, safety programs, and 5S practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences with minimum 5 years of laboratory experience, OR
- Associate degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences with minimum 10 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Proven experience in a GMP laboratory environment.
- Strong knowledge of compendial testing methods (USP/EP/JP) and wet chemistry techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and planning skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Other Requirements:
- Must successfully pass pre-employment and annual screenings, including medical monitoring, background check, and drug/alcohol testing.
- Adherence to laboratory safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and OSHA standards.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27.94 - $31.45 per hour
