ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of medical gas and related industrial equipment. This role involves working on air compressor systems, vacuum pumps, VFDs, control cabinets, and PLC-driven equipment. The ideal candidate is a reliable communicator, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and internal support teams.
Travel is limited to approximately 15%.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform service, preventative maintenance, and repairs on:
- Air compressor systems
- Vacuum pumps
- Medical gas and industrial process equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving VFDs, control panels, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and basic electrical systems
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent on-site support
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technical support teams
- Maintain accurate service records using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Travel regionally as needed (approximately 15%)
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with industry standards
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & HARD SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing:
- Air compressors, vacuum pumps, HVAC systems, or similar industrial capital equipment
- Experience with:
- VFDs
- Control cabinets
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Strong customer service ability
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Willingness to travel regionally (1–2 nights every 3 weeks)
