Industrial B2B Sales Manager - Kansas City, MO
Our client is looking for a National Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading the team and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market share. The ideal candidate has deep experience selling technical or industrial products/services and a strong track record of building relationships within B2B environments.
Location: Kansas City MO
Shift: M-F, 8am to 5pm
Salary: $100K-150K/yr commissions benefits (depends on experience)
Full-time, Direct-hire role!
What’s the Job?
Lead, support, and optimize performance of the sales team and manufacturer’s representatives
Develop and implement effective national sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share
Track and report sales and goal progress to senior management
Build and maintain key customer relationships
Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals with industrial and technical sales backgrounds
Identify growth opportunities in key industrial sectors and track competitive developments
Travel (<20%). Represent the company at industry trade shows, technical conferences, and customer site visits
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align on customer requirements and market needs
Provide voice-of-customer insights to support product innovation and operational improvements
Supports additional projects and company interests as needed
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree
7 years of industrial B2B sales experience
Excellent written and oral communication/presentation abilities
Demonstration of intellect, sales acumen, and leadership skills
Ability to learn and effectively communicate technical information
Demonstrated ability to set and exceed goals
Positive attitude and flexibility to changes as required by the environment
Comfort with Microsoft Office
