What you’ll be doing?
- Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to machine production and custom components.
- Calculating dimensions, tolerances, and performing precise layout and measurements.
- Programming, setting up, and operating manual and CNC machinery for both prototype and production runs.
- Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure product accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspecting finished parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
- Adjusting tooling, machine offsets, and resolving mechanical or operational issues.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Documenting machining procedures and inspection/production results.
What you bring?
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical program/apprenticeship preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in both manual and CNC machining.
- Strong understanding of machining practices, cutting tools, metals, and plastics.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and documentation.
- Proficiency in G-Code programming and experience with CAD/CAM software.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
