Role Description The Senior Electrical Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brooklyn, NY. This role oversees electrical contracting projects from planning through completion, including coordinating design, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Daily responsibilities include managing project teams, reviewing electrical plans and specifications, monitoring job progress, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and industry standards. The Senior Electrical Project Manager will communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide updates, address issues, and maintain project quality and timelines. The role also involves mentoring junior staff, supporting value engineering efforts, and contributing to process improvements across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles.
- Experience in electrical contracting and hands-on oversight of field installations.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking for construction projects.
