Large Value Stream Laminator Cell 2 - First Shift

There are two full-time openings on 1st SHIFT in LARGE VALUE STREAM.

Hours will be 5:25 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Thursday.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Large Value Stream Laminator is responsible for all aspects of laminating. Core duties include setting up the laminator, feeding and cutting off on the laminator, hand apply, run through, splitting, print head changeovers & packaging. Responsibilities also include performing routine preventative maintenance, following 5S standards, and contributing to overall production efficiency. This role may involve cross-training and operating multiple laminating presses, as well as assisting in other departments as needed.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up print heads

· Perform press changeovers

· Assist in training new employees

· Setting up laminators, feeding and cutting off

· Verify laminating quality and specifications

· Perform process quality checks

· Read and interpret blueprints

· Perform routine preventative maintenance

· Meet daily production and quality standards

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles

· Assist with other tasks and departments as needed

· Learn and operate additional laminating press types

· Report safety concerns and maintenance issues promptly

· Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

High school diploma

18 years of age

KEY COMPETENCIES

· Basic computer proficiency (job tracking, blueprint reading)

· Strong attendance record

· Effective communication skills

· Solid organizational abilities

· Capable problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Ability to stand for up to 10 hours

· Ability to bend, twist, and move as required

· Capable of performing repetitive physical tasks

$2.00 Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
