There is 1 full-time opening for a Die Maker/Hard Tooling

FIRST SHIFT: Monday- Thursday 5:25am - 3:30pm

ABOUT EMPIRE SCREEN PRINTING:

Empire is a family-owned, award-winning business that prides itself on using environmentally-friendly print methods. Empire is a full-service company in OEM and POP markets, producing overlays, vinyl decals, crystal-line domes, nameplates, magnets, and roll labels, using UV LED and UV screening, digital and flexographic printing.

JOB SUMMARY:

Die-making operators are responsible for building precise die boards to be used throughout our various die-cutting presses. Dies are built based on customer’s unique specifications, variety of materials, and custom shapes. Good candidates has a good eye for detail and ability to read a ruler. Computer proficient in AutoCAD is helpful. We will train the right person.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Computer proficient
• Solid math and measuring skills; accurately read ruler within .005”
• Rulers, calculators and calipers are used on a regular basis.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds or more
• Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency
• Must have excellent attendance and work well with others in a cooperative team environment
• Must have a safety conscious behavior

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Die Cutting and/or Die Making, I-Cutting, and/or hard tool experience
• Familiarity with blueprint reading
• Experience with AutoCAD
