Medical Biller for Psychiatry Practice

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Biller who has Medication Prior Authorization Experience to support our psychiatric practice. This dual role involves coordinating medication pre-authorizations, and supporting billing and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Medication Prior Authorizations:
 Coordinate prior authorization requests for psychiatric medications with insurance
companies.
 Follow up with insurance providers to track status and obtain approvals.
 Collaborate with prescribers and pharmacies to ensure timely medication access.
 Maintain accurate records of all authorization processes and outcomes.

Billing Assistance/Biller:
 Help resolve billing issues and enter charges to patient accounts as needed.
 Provide support with patient billing questions and statements.

Administrative Support:
 Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations at all times.
 Support the billing department and clinicians with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

 Experience: Minimum 3 years in medical billing, prior authorizations, or related roles
(psychiatry or behavioral health preferred).
 Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance processes, psychiatric medications, and
electronic medical records (EMRs).
 Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to
work independently.
 Tech: Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Office Ally, Dr Chrono, etc.)
