What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Trimmer position at Empire Perez LLC?
We are looking for a results driven individual that is able to work in a fast pace environment. Trimming marijuana is a very detail-oriented and repetitive job. It requires passion for the industry, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow direction very closely. You must be able to handle critique, have strong hand-eye coordination, and be able to improve your quality and speed as you learn. Attendance and flexibility are also extremely important within this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trimming different strains of cannabis efficiently and in a timely manor with repetitive hand motions. You must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, and you must be willing to sit or stand for long periods of time. Aside from trimming the plant, you will also be in charge of separation of stems, water leaf, and sweet leaf, as well as the clean up before and after processing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of Medical Marijuana laws, rules, and regulations set forth by the state; an interest to further personal understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is appreciated and commendable.
- Fundamental knowledge of using scales, trimming, production, and packaging.
- Skills in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed.
- Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of the staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers.
- This job requires sitting for long periods of time and working with your hands using small components and tools. This work requires a consistent and repetitive motion.
- Trimming cannabis would be a plus!
This is a temporary position for 30 - 60 days that may extend longer. We are looking for individuals to start asap!
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
