What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Manager position at Empire Homes?
- Manage the scheduled conciliations through to cancellation/completion and attend as required, including preparation of all documentation
- Process information from inspection and provide detailed report to administrators for further processing and scheduling
- Provide information key to tracking conciliation matters effectively
- May be required to maintain sites on a management level on an as-needed basis
- Supervise, manage and motivate on site staff members
- Review and route Accident and Incident Reports re: Customer Service Team - as needed
- Organize manpower to cover employee absences on specific projects - as needed
- Prepare disciplinary correspondence for Associates for review by Director - as needed
- Provide status/concern updates to upper management
- Manage conciliations according to set objectives for service repairs and warranty items identified form 30 Day and Year-end inspections, obtaining Homeowner acknowledgement for work completion
- Inspect work completed by service team based on agreed upon schedule and provide ongoing guidance and technical support
- Oversee the assignment of warranty service requests to customer service representatives and work order issuance to trade partners on service repair work relative to conciliation matters
- Management documentation of purchaser requests and deficiencies
- Liaison with on-site Customer Service, Customer Care Coordinators, Head Office Customer Care team and construction to effectively and positively communicate and report progress and trade intervention as required.
- Lead management of conciliations for identified warranty items
- Attend Tarion Seminars and attend home purchaser functions as required
- Comply with legal, legislative and corporate safety requirements
- Review and approve or revise VPO quotes and submissions as well as back charges to trade partners in relation to conciliation items
