Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Hay Grinding Machine Operator to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a mobile hay grinding machine with precision and efficiency, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and basic mechanical skill will contribute directly to our overall goal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and develop your skills in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Duties
- Drive the semi and operate a hydro-fork grinder (NO CDL Required).
- Work with our customer base (Cattleman) on their hay grinding needs.
- Ability to adapt to a new learning curve of troubleshooting problems as they come up.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery following established safety standard.
- Collaborate with team members and our customers on routes, maintenance and other shop duties as they come up.
- Navigate routes for grinding in South Central Nebraska
Experience
- Any kind of mechanical background is appreciated.
- Experience in driving industrial equipment preferred.
- Familiarity shop equipment and tools.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
