What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Laborer position at EMPIRE FENCE AND CUSTOM IRON WORKS?
Empire Fence and Custom Iron Works has an immediate job opening for a Shop Laborer. We offer an excellent opportunity for long term employment with medical and retirement benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off. Hourly starting pay is dependent on experience. Your responsibilities will be:
· Grinding, cleaning and prep work of completed jobs for paint
· Painting finished products (spray paint experience would be preferred)
· Cutting steel for jobs
· Shop cleaning as needed
Successful candidates: - Ability to lift 100 lbs. - Ability to bend, twist and lift all day - Dependable and reliable - Looking for a long-term position - Not afraid of hard work - This position is a day shift starting at 6:30am Monday - Friday with approximately 2 hours of overtime weekly.
Experience:
- Spray painting experience would be preferred
- Willingness to learn and work hard can replace the lack of experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
