Responsibilities:
As the Wound Care Nurse (RN), you'll:
- Assess, stage, treat, and monitor all wounds, including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and chronic ulcers, using evidence-based protocols.
- Develop and oversee individualized wound care plans, ensuring timely treatments, proper dressing changes, and early identification of infection or decline.
- Lead pressure-injury prevention efforts through skin assessments, risk evaluations, staff education, and monitoring of repositioning and support surface use.
- Maintain accurate wound documentation to support care planning, MDS accuracy, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance
