We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide supportive, hands-on care in collaboration with our Physical Therapists. In this flexible, as-needed role, you will assist in the implementation of therapeutic programs aimed at improving our residents' mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT).
- Assist residents with exercises and therapeutic activities to enhance strength, mobility, and function.
- Monitor and document resident progress accurately and report changes to the PT.
- Educate residents and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Georgia.
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
