Douglasville Center for nursing and healing is looking for an energetic individual who can assist in various activities in both small and large group settings. We have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who is outgoing with a great personality, bringing smiles and happiness to others. As an activities assistant within our Long-Term Skilled Nursing Facility, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities and programs.
Available Hours : Full-time 9am-4:30pm *Must be available to work Weekends
Assist the activities director in planning, organizing, and implementing various activities.
Meet resident needs and interests, taking into account the abilities and physical limitations of each individual resident.
Assist residents with transport to center activities.
Document attendance at activities.
Works with volunteer staff to ensure smooth operations of activities programs.
