We are seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Operations Specialist with deep expertise in Paylocity HRIS administration and optimization. This role will serve as the internal subject matter expert for Paylocity, ensuring the platform is fully leveraged to support the employee lifecycle, maintain data integrity, and drive operational efficiency across People Operations.
This position plays a critical role in supporting employees, managers, and leadership by ensuring HR systems, processes, and data are accurate, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Paylocity HRIS Administration (Primary Focus)
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Paylocity HRIS.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Paylocity to support the full employee lifecycle including hires, terminations, promotions, job changes, and organizational updates.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within Paylocity, ensuring all employee records and workflows are properly managed.
- Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc Paylocity reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making and workforce planning.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and automate processes within Paylocity to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Troubleshoot HRIS issues and serve as the internal point of contact for Paylocity-related questions.
People Operations & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Provide responsive support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and HR systems.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes within Paylocity.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, internal resources, and employee self-service materials.
- Partner with People & Culture leadership to enhance the overall employee experience and operational efficiency.
Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
- Generate HR reports and workforce analytics through Paylocity to support business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor HR data for trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement.
- Support compliance reporting and ensure accurate HR documentation and record keeping.
Benefits & Payroll Collaboration
- Partner closely with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure Paylocity data flows accurately into payroll and benefits processes.
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, employee questions, and coordination with vendors.
- Support payroll-related inquiries by ensuring HRIS data changes are properly recorded and communicated.
Projects & Process Improvement
- Support People Operations initiatives and cross-functional HR projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, documentation, and system workflows.
- Assist with HR-related presentations, reporting, and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of Paylocity HRIS administration experience.
- 4 years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or People Operations roles.
- Strong experience managing HR data, employee lifecycle workflows, and HR reporting within Paylocity.
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits processes within an HRIS environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
