What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Customer Service Associate position at Emory Centre Pharmacy?
Emory Centre Pharmacy is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated team member to join our independent community pharmacy team.
This position involves assisting customers at the point of sale, answering phones, helping patients with questions, and supporting pharmacy staff with daily workflow tasks. Cross-training opportunities are available for individuals interested in learning additional pharmacy responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service
- Is dependable and works well in a fast-paced environment
- Has strong communication and multitasking skills
- Is comfortable learning pharmacy workflow and terminology
- Works well as part of a team
Responsibilities may include:
- Operating the cash register / point of sale system
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Assisting with prescription pickup workflow
- Counting medications under pharmacist supervision
- Stocking shelves and maintaining a clean workspace
- Helping with day-to-day pharmacy operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
