Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various construction and installation tasks related to fireplaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Install and assemble fireplaces according to specifications and blueprints
- Perform on-site measurements and assessments for accurate installation
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of fireplaces into building projects
- Utilize carpentry skills to construct fireplace structures
- Conduct electrical work as needed for fireplace installations
- Handle remodeling tasks to accommodate fireplace installations
- Operate heavy equipment for transportation and installation of fireplaces
Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for fireplace installations
- Experience in roofing and flooring installation to support fireplace projects
- Strong carpentry skills for constructing and finishing fireplace structures
- Knowledge of electrical work related to fireplace installations
- Ability to estimate construction costs accurately
- Familiarity with remodeling tasks in relation to fireplace installations
- Capability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites
For your safety
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs
- Must be able to climb a ladder and work on a roof
-Must be able to use common hand tools including power tools
-Must be able to work in tight spaces or in high places from ladder, scaffolding or roofing
- Must be able to bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees to handle and install fireplaces and venting materials
