We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your expertise in childhood development will help guide our curriculum and support each child's individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills, emotional growth, and teamwork.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of all children in the program.
- Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet their unique requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones.
- Transportation to and from school.
Skills
- Experience working with children in various settings such as preschool, daycare, or babysitting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with special education strategies for children with disabilities.
- Strong understanding of childhood development stages and effective caregiving techniques.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting an inclusive environment.
- Experience in toddler care, ensuring their safety and developmental needs are met.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
