Overview
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. In this role, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities living safe, meaningful, and independent lives. Ideal candidates are compassionate, dependable, patient, and motivated by purpose and heart-centered service.
What You'll Do
- Provide person-centered support in the home and community
- Assist with daily living needs including hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support safe mobility and transfers, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Promote independence, skills development, and social engagement
- Honor and support each individual's choices, preferences, and goals
- Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and errands
- Administer medications and follow health protocols (after training)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Individual Service Plans (ISPs), agency policies, and state service standards
- Accurately document services, progress, and incidents
- Observe and report changes in health, behavior, or needs
- Support behavior strategies and positive reinforcement plans as needed
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with individuals, families, and team members
- Maintain confidentiality and provide care with dignity, respect, and compassion

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background & fingerprint clearance
- Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs and assist with mobility and personal care
Preferred (not required — we train!):
- Experience in DSP, caregiving, healthcare, or human services
- CPR/First Aid certification
- DD Waiver or Medicaid program experience
