What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reliable Handyman and Property Maintenance Worker position at Emlak LLC?
We're seeking a reliable and skilled individual for handyman, maintenance, and preferably yard work in downtown Santa Fe.
- Minor Plumbing: Perform minor plumbing tasks like clogs (toilets/sinks/showers), repair faucets, minor leaks.
- A/C: Change air filters in a/c units, replace batteries for remote controls, and troubleshoot problems.
- Minor construction work: Stucco and drywall repairs, paint, assemble furniture, mount appliances.
- Electricity: Install/replace switches, hang light fixtures, troubleshoot minor issues, and replace/reset breakers.
- Maintenance: Tighten screws, address wobbly furniture, repaint, and replace when needed.
- Trash Management: Put out trash out on trash day and take in trash bins after collection.
- Optional Yard Maintenance: We are looking for a yard and garden worker separately but if you are available to do that work as well, we are happy to work with you.
- Optional Renovation Work: We have plenty of renovation projects at any give time. We prefer to work with you for work you are skilled and well qualified.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
- Reliable transportation.
- Reside in Santa Fe.
- Must have own tools
- Reliable communications: Ensure good signal coverage for on-call availability, diligence in communications, and follow-through.
- Customer service experience: Ability to handle customer issues for win-win resolutions.
- Professional appearance and competency in verbal and written communications.
- Disciplined work ethic in a flexible work environment.
- Ability to write and follow checklists.
- Capacity to take direction and enhance work quality.
- Punctuality: Arrive on time for assignments.
