What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Emish Market?
Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Busser to support our servers and restaurant team and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
The ideal candidate is responsible, energetic, attentive to detail, and able to work quickly and efficiently during busy restaurant service.
What You'll Do
- Assist servers with maintaining clean and organized tables
- Clear used plates, glasses, silverware, and other items from tables
- Clean and sanitize tables after guests leave
- Reset tables with clean plates, silverware, napkins, and other items
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to guests when needed
- Refill water and other non-alcoholic beverages as assigned
- Keep dining areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Keep service stations stocked and organized
- Assist with running food from the kitchen to tables
- Help collect and organize dishes and glassware
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining restaurant areas throughout the shift
- Support servers, hosts, bartenders, and other restaurant staff as needed
- Respond quickly to guest and team member requests
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
- Help maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for guests and employees
Work Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
PayCompensation: $18-20/h tips.
