Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with mobility and help facilitate physical activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring clients feel valued and respected.
- Administer medications as prescribed and keep track of clients' health status.
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and other household needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare team.
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a genuine commitment to providing quality care.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
