Grade 6 ELA Teacher SY 26-27

The Emily G. Wetherbee School is seeking an 6th grade ELA teacher responsible for teaching four core ELA classes and an intervention class and managing a sixth grade homeroom. Proficiency in the Massachusetts State Standards is preferred. The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, are recommended. Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing one homeroom class Participating in the Warrior S.T.R.O.N.G. schoolwide positive behavior support and social-emotional learning protocols Maintaining grade-level report cards Participating in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings Attending IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings
