Job Summary:
This position sits within Emigrant Mortgage Company and is responsible for assisting the Loan Officer with various tasks in connection with Emigrant’s Residential Loans and Community Lending.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
New York pay range: $50,000 USD - $65,000 USD

This position sits within Emigrant Mortgage Company and is responsible for assisting the Loan Officer with various tasks in connection with Emigrant’s Residential Loans and Community Lending.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the sales team with the day to day administrative tasks needed to run a successful mortgage origination business. Help manage the loan process from origination through successful closing
- Aid the sales team with research, marketing and outreach projects
- Communicate via email and phone with mortgage broker clients and/or retail borrowers directly on behalf of the sales representative. Interface the coordination with Emigrant Mortgage’s processing and underwriting teams
- Input new retail loan submissions on Emigrant Mortgage’s electronic submission portal once the sales representative has completed a new loan application
- Assist mortgage brokers with the navigation of Emigrant Mortgage’s electronic submission portal to ensure a successful loan submission
- Comply with company policies, practices and procedures
- Manage documents, files and electronic information in an organized, efficient and secure manner
- Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner
- Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity
- Complete company required training courses as assigned
- Respond to incoming calls, e-mails, mail and in-person requests
- Attend meetings and prepare follow-up as needed
- Interact with customers in a professional and pleasant manner
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word & Excel
- General understanding of Adobe Reader/ Adobe Professional & Microsoft PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Residential Mortgage Processing
- Execute tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform responsibilities with honesty and integrity
- Maintain a professional level of stress tolerance
- Possess ability to adapt to changing environment
