APPLICATION DEVELOPER - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

EMH&T is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Entry Level Application Developer to join our growing IT division. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Application Development Manager and contribute to projects that modify or enhance existing software platforms and support the creation of new applications. This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, develop their technical skills, and make a meaningful impact on real business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, coding, and testing of technical solutions across new and existing applications.


• Support the creation of project documentation, including features, modules, and requirements.


• Monitor key project metrics and participate in quality control initiatives to ensure accuracy and performance.


• Review and help implement testing criteria, contributing to robust and reliable software releases.


• Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of existing software applications, including updates, repairs, and modifications as needed.


• Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Ability to quickly assimilate and learn new information, applying new concepts and tools with minimal guidance.


• Effectively applies technical training to real-world assignments, troubleshooting issues and contributing to development tasks.


• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in coding, documentation, and testing activities.


• Interpersonal and rapport-building skills that support positive working relationships.


• Clear and effective oral and written communication.


• Demonstrated teamwork, contributing to group goals and supporting peers in a collaborative environment.

 Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field, specializing in application development.


• Hands-on software development experience.


• Foundational knowledge of .NET, Visual Studio, C#, VB, JavaScript & HTML.


• Integration experience with SQL or other Database platforms.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a good understanding of IT systems and processes.


• Ability to multi-task and take on new projects and assignments.
