Job Summary
Job Summary
The Instructional Assistant provides support to the summer school classroom teacher or Extended School Year (ESY) teacher and is under his/her immediate direction. There will be 3 aides for ESY (1 Mild/Mod, 2 ESN) and 2 aides supporting the general education summer school (1 supporting Incoming K, 1 one-on-one aide).
Requirements / Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED • AA Degree, or 48 College Semester Units, or Passing (70%) of County-wide Instructional Assistant Examination Minimum Proficiency Test. • Experience working with school age children • Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
