Job Summary
The Instructional Assistant provides support to the classroom teacher and is under his/her immediate direction; this may include supporting in a genral education or self contained special education classroom setting or as a 1:1 in either academic setting. This vacancy is intended as a roving position.
Requirements / Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED • AA Degree, or 48 College Semester Units, or Passing (70%) of County-wide Instructional Assistant Examination Minimum Proficiency Test. • Experience working with school age children • Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
