Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hardscaping Foreman to lead and oversee all aspects of hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. This role is vital in ensuring that construction projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. As a key leader on-site, you will manage crews, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and ensure that every project aligns with design specifications and safety regulations. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, landscaping, and construction will drive successful project execution while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the hardscaping crew to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Oversee installation of outdoor features such as patios, pathways, retaining walls, and irrigation systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage team members’ performance, provide guidance, and promote safety protocols across all job sites.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to interpret plans and ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction projects.
- Ensure proper plant identification, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance are integrated into project planning when applicable.
Skills
- Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, and hardscape construction.
- Proven supervising experience with crew management and team leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation management, lawn care, gardening, tree care, and horticulture principles.
- Ability to identify various plants and troubleshoot landscape issues effectively.
- Skilled in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with safety-first mindset while fostering a collaborative work environment.
