This role ensures adherence to global and regional chemical regulations , maintains accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labeling, and supports regulatory reporting, product registrations, and customer compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & HAZCOM
- Ensure compliance with Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain availability and accuracy of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for finished products, intermediates, and raw materials
- Support internal and external stakeholders with regulatory and compliance inquiries
- Author and publish SDS and product labels (Commercial and GHS) using SPHERA software
- Ensure SDS and labelingcomply withinternal procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Upload and maintain SDS documentation in SharePoint and internal systems
- Assistwith regional and global product registrations
- Prepare andsubmitregulatory documentation, including:
- Agency reports and permit renewals
- Product certifications and customer questionnaires
- EPA Exempt Polymer Reports (annual filings)
- Draft Polymer Exemption Reports asrequired
- Maintain SAP Dangerous Goods Master data for product classifications and updates
- Validate and test SPHERA system upgrades prior to release
- Maintain updated SDS records with CHEMTREC emergency services
- Review and support approval of:
- MOC (Management of Change) requests
- NPI (New Product Introduction) initiatives
- ESS (Experimental Sample System) activities
- Ensure regulatory compliance is integrated into product lifecycle processes
- Partner with Quality, Operations, R&D (P&AD), and Commercial teams to support regulatory needs
- Assistwith customer requests and compliance documentation
- Serve as backup to the PSR Manager as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry , Biochemistry, Toxicology, or related scientific field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or related field
- Knowledge of regional and global chemical regulations (e.g., GHS, TSCA, REACH preferred)
- Experience with SDS authoring systems (SPHERA preferred)
- Familiarity with SAP (Dangerous Goods / Material Master)
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Understanding of chemical classification and labeling requirements
- Strong attention to detail and regulatory accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple regulatory requirements and deadlines
- Effective cross-functional communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High levelof accountability and ownership
- Completion of New Hire Orientation training within60 days
- On-the-job training conducted by qualified personnel
- Training documented per PSR training procedures and records retention policies
- Office-based role with periodic interaction in laboratory and manufacturing environments
- May require coordination with global teams across multiple time zones

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
