Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based nutrition care plans in a dynamic clinical setting.
What You’ll Do
- Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to patients across all age groups
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and analyze clinical data
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on nutrition-related health strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Required Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or related field required
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship or equivalent required (approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)
- Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration OR RD-eligible (must obtain credential within 6 months of hire)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent patient-centered communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to high-quality customer service
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
