Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support with mobility, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Provide direct support in assisted living settings or long-term care facilities as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal care aide roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CPR techniques is a plus.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care environments is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges is essential.
