Location: 5 days onsite- Dallas TX
Experience: 12 years
Role Summary
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong hands-on software engineering background, who started their career as a Software Engineer and later transitioned into project/program management. The ideal candidate must have solid embedded systems experience and the ability to manage technically complex projects in embedded software development environments.
Key Requirements
- Mandatory: Prior hands-on experience in Embedded Software Development
- Must have started career as a Software Engineer
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, real-time software, and low-level development
- Experience managing projects involving C , Java, and embedded technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders
- Experience handling end-to-end project delivery (planning, execution, risk, and delivery)
Technical Skills
- Embedded Software Development (mandatory)
- Programming languages: C / C , Java (any additional languages are a plus)
- Familiarity with embedded platforms, RTOS, device drivers, or firmware is preferred
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum or other project management methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage embedded software development projects from initiation to delivery
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality
- Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
- Track project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
- Ensure adherence to quality, performance, and compliance standards
