About the Role

Key Experience & Background

• Proven pallet‑building experience, including familiarity with common pallet designs, lumber dimensions, and assembly requirements.
• Demonstrated success working under a piece‑rate system, showing the ability to maximize earnings through efficient work habits without sacrificing quality.
• Experience using powered and manual hand tools, such as nail guns, saws, pneumatic hammers, tape measures, and impact tools.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial work environments where productivity metrics and quality control standards are emphasized.

Responsibilities

Technical Skills & Abilities

• Accurate measuring and cutting skills, ensuring all pallet components meet specification standards.
• Ability to read and follow build sheets, production orders, or diagrams with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in identifying defects in lumber or finished pallets and making necessary corrections.
• Strong understanding of workflows that impact output, including material handling, staging, stacking, and banding.
• Competent in maintaining consistent production pace, especially in a piece‑rate environment where efficiency is directly tied to compensation.
