What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Technician position at Emergent Health Partners?
Emergent Health Partners is hiring a part-time Operations Support Technician in Battle Creek (25 hrs/week). Responsibilities include cleaning and resupplying ambulances/facilities, laundry, inventory, and disinfection duties. EMT background or certification preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and availability to work afternoon or midnight shifts a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and resupply ambulances and facilities
- Perform laundry duties and maintain inventory per departmental protocols
- Clean/disinfect equipment, vehicles, and assigned areas
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Maintain strong verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Performing other duties as required or assigned.
- Ability to work in varied environments such as out-of-doors
Physical Demands: Performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance visions, color visions, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also do the following:
- Drive using wrist motions to manipulate steering wheel and rotating neck
- Lift and carry automotive parts weighing 100 pounds
- Bend, crawl, crouch under and inside vehicles
- Extend and hyperextend neck
- Stretch, extend and bend arms and legs
- Must be physically present at relevant company locations/sites to conduct job duties at the direction of management
Additional Info: Candidates must maintain the ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, and understand both written and verbal instructions. Attention to detail as well as organizational skills are a must. Candidates must be willing to work afternoon and/or midnight shifts.
Salary : $17 - $24
