Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to assemble, solder, inspect, and rework electronic components and assemblies. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision workmanship and understands that quality soldering is critical to product reliability.
You’ll work in a production environment assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components using hand soldering and/or reflow processes while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand solder electronic components to PCBs using through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) techniques
- Perform soldering, desoldering, and rework per drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Inspect solder joints
- Identify defects such as cold joints, bridges, lifted pads, and insufficient solder
- Use soldering irons, hot air tools, microscopes, and other precision equipment
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area
- Document work and report quality issues to supervision or engineering
- Meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of hands-on soldering experience (electronics or manufacturing environment)
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Comfortable working with small components under magnification
- Basic understanding of ESD and electronic assembly best practices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to work with small components and fine tools
- Good vision (with or without corrective lenses)

Entry level = $17.34
3-6 years’ experience $19.38 - $24.00
