Role Description This full-time, on-site Interventional Cardiologist role is based in Wisconsin, United States. The Interventional Cardiologist will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization lab, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement. Daily responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in on-call coverage for emergent cardiac cases. The role involves interpreting imaging and test results, documenting clinical findings, and contributing to evidence-based treatment plans. The Interventional Cardiologist is expected to support quality improvement efforts, adhere to institutional protocols, and maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in Medicine, with board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology.
- Advanced expertise in Interventional Cardiology, including proficiency in coronary interventions and related procedures.
- Hands-on experience in the Cath Lab, with demonstrated competency in invasive diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
- Knowledge of contemporary Interventional practices, including appropriate device selection, procedural planning, and post-procedure management.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in Wisconsin, along with required DEA registration.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Willingness to participate in call rotations, quality initiatives, and continuing medical education.
