As an Assistant Manager in our Dental Office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while delivering exceptional patient care. You will collaborate closely with the office manager and dental team to oversee daily activities, enhance patient experiences, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. What you’ll do
- Assist in managing daily operations of the dental office, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
- Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage scheduling and patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and manage referrals.
- Implement practice management software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for streamlined operations.
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and maintain high-quality patient care protocols.
Basic qualifications
- Experience in medical office management or dental clinic experience.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and fiscal oversight.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management principles.
- Background in nursing or acute care settings is a plus.
- Understanding of JCAHO standards and healthcare compliance requirements.
