What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Babysitters position at Emergency Childcare Services?
Now hiring for Fun, Outgoing, babysitters who have a passion for teaching and helping children grow!
Babysitters will provide back-up care for children when their usual arrangement is not available (e.g. cannot attend school, regular nanny is sick, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Be Available! (Monday-Friday, between 7am-7pm) or at least 3 days a week between 7am-7pm
- Provide top-notch childcare in families' homes
- Communicate promptly, clearly, and professionally with parents and management
- Care for children; Engage in play time and fun home learning activities
- Some light tidying up and/or light meal prep for kiddos
- Able to follow detailed instructions, and use mobile app to maintain schedule and enter timesheets promptly
- Be sure to complete daily sheet for each siting assignment

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of childcare experience working as a babysitter, nanny, teacher, youth leader, classroom aid, or similar
- Willingness and ability to accept last minute job assignments- for same day and next day assignments a PLUS
- High School diploma or equivalent at minimum (NO college required)
- 18 years old or older
- Reliable, punctual, patient, kind, and a great communicator
- Able to follow instructions and communicate professionally with office staff and families
- Experience with autism, ADHD, or other special needs is a PLUS
- Access to reliable car and willing to commute to assignments
- Eligible to work in the US
- Able and willing to undergo comprehensive background check
