Our client is seeking a high-energy Senior Financial Analyst to support our Research & Development operations. This role is responsible for financial analysis, accounting oversight, and reporting across project and manufacturing accounting environments, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational results for R&D and manufacturing activities
- Support month-end close, including invoicing, labor reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain inventory ownership and standard costing updates
- Support capital appropriations and fixed asset accounting
- Develop reports through data extraction and analysis
- Provide quarterly and annual tax reporting support
- Support SOX compliance and internal control requirements
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and support special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel skills; experience with cost accounting preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- MBA and database querying experience a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
