Facilities Electrical Project Engineer – Hampton, VA Emerge is recruiting a direct hire Facilities Electrical Project Engineer in Hampton, VA, for a leading manufacturer.
In this role, you will manage and support a variety of electrical and automation projects across a large, complex manufacturing facility.
You'll be part of a collaborative team working to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency in all areas of the operation.
90,000 to $ per year

Manage electrical and controls scopes for capital improvement, obsolescence, and process optimization projects Coordinate full lifecycle of assigned
scope development, bidding, equipment selection, installation, startup, and closure Provide engineering support for production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues Lead PLC, HMI, and robotic programming efforts across all plant facilities and systems Maintain accurate records of all automation systems and changes Drive improvements to existing automation technology and infrastructure Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety policies, including oversight of EHS procedures Supervise contractor activity and ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards
Bachelor's degree in ELECTRICAL Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and power distribution Experience managing technical projects in a manufacturing environment This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
