Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector I to join the Medford, OR team.
The Quality Inspector performs inspection operations on various items, using applicable specifications. Witnesses and/or perform dynamic tests on individual parts and assemblies, and makes accept/reject decisions. When assigned, performs a variety of independent duties to assist in the development of quality inspection procedures and training of inspection personnel.

Responsibilities of the Incoming Inspector:
- Read the Bill of Materials, Assembly Instructions, and other documentation necessary before starting the process.
- Machine Checks with trainer approval.
- Perform less difficult first articles with trainer approval.
- Begin inspecting less difficult assemblies with the trainer re-inspecting for accuracy.
- PTH line verification with trainer approval.
- Willingness to adjust schedule to meet customer needs.
- Perform PTH line verification.
- Perform less difficult first articles

Qualifications of the Incoming Inspector:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of related inspection experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications
- Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors.
- Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts.
- Knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe).
