GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision, assists in maintaining customer and internal manufacturing documents by creating/maintaining part numbers, AVL, Bill of Materials, and engineering changes. Data entry skills and excellent typing skills are required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to perform a variety of tasks and will work under general supervision. Specific duties to include but are not limited to the following:
- BOM creation and maintenance
- Part number creation and AVL maintenance
- Electronic and hard copy document management
- Creation/Maintenance of Assembly/Boxbuild Documentation
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret a variety of engineering documents such as specifications, component data sheets, assembly drawings, ECO’s and PCR’s
- Familiar with electronic components
- Familiar with manufacturing documentation processes including BOM’s, AVL, Part numbering and MRP systems
- Familiar with computer aided manufacturing software such as CircuitCam is a plus
- Strong Communication Skills – including the ability to interact with engineering and other operations departments
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
