Lab Technician
Location: Brecksville, Ohio
Pay Rate: $18.54/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a fast-paced laboratory team in Brecksville, Ohio. This position is responsible for supporting laboratory operations through sample preparation, testing, documentation, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, materials, and test panels for laboratory evaluations
- Conduct routine laboratory testing according to established procedures
- Record and document test results accurately and completely
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments safely and effectively
- Assist with product evaluations, quality testing, and data collection
- Follow all laboratory safety policies and procedures
- Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory work areas and equipment
- Label, store, and dispose of materials according to company guidelines
- Communicate testing results and observations to laboratory personnel
- Support additional laboratory projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in a science-related field preferred
- Previous laboratory, manufacturing, quality control, or testing experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds throughout the shift
