Job Summary:
We are searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to clean, maintain, and check-in/check-out rental trucks and trailers.
As a Yard Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our trailers are in excellent condition, meeting the requirements of our clients in the film and television industry. You will work closely with our operations team and collaborate with technicians to deliver top-notch vehicles to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Clean vehicles prior to and upon return from rental
- Test vehicles for functionality
- Check in/out vehicles using our software
- Dump and service water tanks
- Fuel vehicles
- Maintain the cleanliness of the yard
- Stock and organize parts/materials
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers picking up/returning vehicles
Qualifications:
- Ability to reliably commute to our location in Newark, NJ
- Prompt and on-time
- Positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions year-round
- General mechanical aptitude and the desire to learn new systems is preferred but not required
- Willingness to operate a company cargo van in and around NYC and travel as needed is preferred, but not required.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay of $21/hr which is $60,000 per year at 50 hours per week
- 10 vacation days per year
