This position is a hybrid position between manufacturing engineering and prototyping. You will be working on designs for producing parts but also working to produce prototypes. It is challenging to say the least but new grads welcomed to apply. This is a great position for understanding design & machining and everyday will provide a unique challenge.
Emelody is in the aerospace design, prototyping, and manufacturing business. If amazing engineering, and manufacturing those items excites you stay tuned.
There is a lot to learn but high growth and position to gain traction in the company.
You will be working directly in NX and CAM iterating designs and manufacturing them. This is a fast paced job. In addition basic standards of maintaining shop organization will be expected.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Machining.
COMPETENCIES:
- 2 years experience in or around a machine shop/CNC.
- Produces vertically machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Previous working knowledge of CAM is a major plus. . NX is what you will ultimately learn. Direct experience is a plus.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
- Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
