Job Duties
- Establish the billing format for client approval, prepare billings in conformance with the terms and conditions of the contract, input invoice information into accounting system.
- Extraction and analysis of project costs across various categories such as labor, materials, and overhead as well as verify accuracy with the Project Management team.
- Compile backup for billing documents.
- Assist the Project Management Team with accurate forecasting of estimates and monthly billing accruals based on historical data and other factors.
- Assist pre-construction team in analysis of historical data to produce accurate estimates for Fee General Contractor bids.
- Assist with project audits.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the construction project team(s) and stakeholders.
- Generate and provide COIs to all clients or other third parties as needed.
- Utilize system to track and manage all customer COIs and renewal dates, ensuring timely follow-up for expiring policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Attributes
- Understanding of Cost Plus and\or Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts is a must.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiar with accounting software (Viewpoint experience a plus).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information for the company.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent).
- 3-5 years’ experience with the construction industry.
- Experience working with critical deadlines.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000
